There is so much hype about college admissions, and at first I was really freaked out about how I was going to navigate through it as a divorced mom. But, I figured that if 18 million students enroll in college in the US each year, we could get a handle on the situation too.
In general, I have had a pretty laid back attitude about parenting since my divorce. First, I went through a period of trying to keep my kids happy. Then I stopped trying to be perfect. I finally understood that I can only do the best I can while trying my best to keep them safe and loved. By keeping myself happy, I keep my sanity.
I applied that philosophy towards college admissions and the results have been magical. Watch my video to hear all about it.
